This is what happens when you let a non-turf writer cover a race....really...Big Chuck? Maybe he covers the NBA?
I think he meant to refer to Big Truck...

I was wondering why I didn't recall a horse in last years Derby that reminded me of a steak. Big Truck makes far more sense.
"LIKE"
There may be 50 words in Eskimo for "snow," but there's only one word in English for FAIL.
And he just keeps going back to it, too...If I would have submitted that for a class, it would have gotten a "D," no questions asked (or at least I would have given it a "D." I'm willing to bet most of my profs don't know who won the 2008 TB Derby either).
Whatever happened to Big Chuck...erm, Truck? I don't remember ever hearing from him again after the Kentucky Derby.
M-BC: I remember Big Truck running in Saratoga last summer - The Albany Stakes where he finished 3rd, which was his only race after the Derby. I'm not sure if he's at stud now?
Looks like someone hacked into his Wiki and posted some bogus stuff in the historical area...but the race info looks right.
I was at Aqueduct in November for the Discovery Handicap...Big Truck scratched out of that race if i remember correctly and I haven't seen him since.
Looks like you and I are back on for a day of racing at the Fort!
Big Chuck, meet Just Gender.
According to a NOLA writer, "Larry Jones will saddle Just Gender, a filly owned by his wife, in a stakes race."
Not quite as funny, but still a pretty good gaffe.
Keith: Turk and I will be meeting you this spring at the Fort fo' sure....
JC: Hilarious...unbelievable this stuff makes it to print.
Thanks for reading.
