Not sure what kind of product my inset is today as this is a quickie post (G rated of course). Weekend stakes selections for the DRF Public Handicapper Challenge (1/4 winners 25% last week, down $1.20). We'll try and recapture some lost ground this week and get back into it.
La Prevoyante Handicap (G2) - Calder: Communique (love Javier on the turf, has faced tough competition in 08). Second choice: J'ray. Third choice: Herboriste (Leparoux is so good on the turf)
Louisiana Champions Day Turf 100k - Fair Grounds: Tortuga Flats (11/14 on the turf, itm 100% at FG). Second choice: Lee's Spirit. (p.s. thanks Val for the PP on this one!)
Louisiana Champions Day Sprint 100k - Fair Grounds: Star Guitar (3/4 at distance, improving numbers). Second choice: Tensas Phone Call (trainer 41%, 3rd off layoff) Was tough call between these two.
Hollywood Starlet Stakes (G1) - Hollywood Park: Dave's Revenge (4th in BC Juv Fillies only 3 lengths behind Stardom Bound, Kent D up). Second choice: Pamona Ball. Best race of the day by far also features Laragh, favorite in the BC Juv Turf, who is comes in as ML favorite here at 2-1.

One for Saturday. Star Guitar ($5.40) my only winner of the day. Tortuga scratched. So 2/8 so far and minus $3.80...
Hey, we're nose-to-nose! :) I only had Star Guitar too. Guess this is why the contest is called "Winter of Our Discontent"
